Hey Friend,
Boy, does it feel great to be back! It was awesome seeing all of the smiling faces on the opening day of Cobourg Farmers Market on Saturday.
So many local producers in the same place is just amazing!
Fun Fact: I learned that Cobourg Farmers Market is the oldest market in Ontario.
That’s pretty neat!
Although we are getting a late start to our season, we have a pretty full table of pea shoots, garlic chive transplants, fiddleheads, and all-natural dog treats.
Fiddleheads are very popular and did not last long. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that I will have any this week, as the season is pretty well finished.
Thank you for coming out and supporting our small business and others around the oval.
At this week’s market, we will have more pea shoots, dog treats, fiddleheads (maybe..), and some potted mint.
Around the garden, we are getting beds made, some early seeds planted and tending to our indoor seedlings.
Slow and Steady wins the race!
This phrase could not be more true for us this year.
Thank you for supporting local,
Kathy & Jon
