It’s almost May! You know what that means if you live in Northumberland County – Farmer’s Market time! HOOORAYY!
We love visiting our local farmer’s markets and seeing what delicious vegetables, tasty treats, and creative designs local merchants have to offer.
Living in Northumberland County, we are very fortunate to have an opportunity to attend an abundant number of farmer’s markets.
To help you decide which market to go to, I have compiled a comprehensive list of farmer’s markets in and around Northumberland County so you can choose which one (or two) to go to on any given weekend.
You may just want to hit up a different market each weekend, or stick with your favourite, the choice is yours!
Northumberland County Farmers Markets
Here is a fantastic list of all the Farmer’s markets in Northumberland County in alphabetical order.
Open: In-person every Saturday, May to End of October
Hours: 9am to 12 pm

There are two Farmers’ markets in Port Hope.
The first market:
Open: In-person every Saturday, May to October
Hours: 8am to 1pm
Location: 56 Queen Street, Port Hope. Click here for the map.
The second market:
Open: In-person every Wednesday, May to October
Hours: 1pm to 5pm

Well, no need to worry about what you’re going to be doing on the weekends starting very soon!
As you can see, there are lots of farmers markets to visit both days of the weekend, and there’s even a midweek market!
